STEFANS im Jägerhof in Wallerfangen

Yesterday we tested the "Stefans im Jägerhof" with five people, in summary we have to say that the restaurant presented itself as "okay". Maybe we had too high expectations due to the listen-to-talk, but the quality of the food here couldn't keep up. Each of us noticed that the meat was unfortunately too dry, we probably could have made the side dishes more tasty ourselves. We had also hoped for a lot more from the desserts ... The service was super nice and friendly, but this couldn't save the evening ... It's a shame, we were disappointed, and unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant ...

We were there on Saturday evening and were greeted very personally by the boss. In general, the service was very friendly and courteous. The dishes were of excellent quality and the price / performance ratio is very good. The one star ratings of other guests are a cheek! We would love to come back.

Small and very fine - recommended!

Went yesterday after a nice day there ... I have not eaten so bad for a long time ... napkin dumplings with chanterelles .. 4 fried slices, which in my opinion were in Päckchensosse and 10 chanterelles, diced vegetables, which was not it suited my man his butterfly noodles had dried ... red wine you had only 1 glass ... and all for 60 euros .... never again.

We wanted to have a nice dinner on Saturday for our anniversary, so we went to 'Stefan's' ... It started off well, the starter was delicious, but that did not stay that way. Already at the wine order they did not bother to advise us a bit, we were only offered two open house wines. At our request, that we actually want a bottle of wine, you have not received. Maybe we did not look 'fine' enough, no idea. After that, it did not get better, for the main course I ordered a pork steak, but in my opinion, it was not. It was a very small piece of meat, mostly fat. At the same time I thought, or I know, that pig's back is very lean meat. On my complaint, I was told that it was okay ??? And then we were then no longer served, our wine glasses were cleared, without the demand, if we want to drink something. When I spoke to this, I got the answer, I still had something to drink, there was only a small amount of water in my glass. We also got no dessert offered, let alone a coffee / espresso or similar. We then paid the full price and I went more or less hungry. So my conclusion from this evening is that if you are not a regular, you better not go there. And if so, then please never criticize, because you can not handle it there.

My last visit to Stefans was on Valentines Day. The menu offered on this day was very delicious and rich.

Unfortunately only the good paying Upperclass regulars are served well. That was very unsympathetic.

The worst food in a long time! And bad service too. Inedible, but expensive! Service was nice, but boss totally unfriendly responded to complaints. Rumpsteak medium was well-cooked, tomato soup only tasted of gin, shrimp were mini shrimp, bacon oysters tasted of fish, stuffed egg with old mayo ...
